Hello dear readers of the site, today we will talk about wooden panels and their installation.
Most panels make a natural tree like a natural tree, although, of course, nothing artificial can replace the present. The sheathing of natural wood is much more expensive and requires more time. Can be sheathed with solid wood (birch, maple or oak) or soft (pine, cedar, cypress). There are several ways to cite wood. For example, you can use panels with latches installed horizontally, diagonally or vertically over horizontal strips.
Varieties and appearance of wooden panels
Wooden casing radically differs in appearance and price. The difference in varieties at first glance seems complex and may vary depending on the tree breed or for another reason. Soft wood is characterized by a separation into three main categories of the quality of wooden panels. Its choice should be stopped on the quality of quality B, since there are practically no flaws in it, or C – with a small amount of them, in extreme cases – D. Pilomaterial for decoration is a completely different quality of wood.
Solid wood of wood are divided by varieties. The most expensive varieties are used for exquisite furniture, the rest – for lining.
The best wood is the one on which there are no growths and defects of the texture. Such wood is much more expensive than a rough birch or pine with growths, the wood of which is not so high -quality, but cheaper.
Installation of wood panels
Panels made of wood will give the room a strict and solid look. They will approach any interior, as they can be painted or covered with stain and varnish. These panels are usually nailed to horizontally arranged barbar strips. If the frame and panels greatly reduce the area of the room, then you can remove drywall and plaster from under the crate and nail the panels directly to the racks or between them.

Finish nails
Bind the horizontal barglars (installing panels on a crate), filling all the cavities under them with wedges. First install one panel, check the correct installation using a circul, and then beat it with nails from above and below.
Attach the next panel, tightly pressing it to the previous. Belve it with nails.
Accurately determine the sizes of sockets and other obstacles and apply the appropriate marking to the panel. Then make cutouts with a hacksaw (hand saws) and check if you put the marking correctly and beat the panel.
On the walls sheathed with wooden panels not from top to bottom, the finishing bar is nailed on the upper part of the skin. To do this, cut the bar of the required size and put it to the racks.
