Thanks to the development of production technologies, construction can use many types of formwork, this applies to formwork for columns. To choose the most suitable option, it is worth considering its varieties in more detail.
Types of formwork, based on their type of columns:
For round forms. They use the so -called small -resistance formwork. Its main advantage is that it is easily mounted on a round surface, as it consists of small components – if you wish, you can even cover the sphere. Concreting a round column is a rather complicated process, so the formwork is mounted carefully, as tightly as possible attaching it to the support. However, for each specific type of column there is its own special technologies, which any builder or reinforcing person knows about. If necessary, representatives of the company can additionally advise the client on the question of interest to him.
For square forms. And although square columns are a rarity (after all, the style of classicism requires the use of round columns in architecture), they are sometimes erected. For them, small -quality formwork is not required, any one that can withstand the pressure created by concrete is suitable. By and large, an ordinary wooden formwork is suitable for a square column, only you need to monitor the tightness.
For oval forms. Here, again, preference should be given to small -quality, since an oval is a relatively complex form.
