As the results obtained by the Levada-Center indicate the results of the Muscovites surveys, only a little less than half of them (41%) to the liking that the authorities decided to expand the territory of the capital, and almost every of the respondents is sure that this will not bring the expected benefit to the city. Based on the upcoming changes, residents of the capital are afraid that the cost of housing will significantly increase in those territories that will soon become “former” near Moscow. Also, metropolitan citizens are also confident that all these body movements are directed exclusively towards the possibility of laundering money, and therefore, again, the citizens surveyed are convinced that the government should deal with other problems, in particular, for example, the development of other cities that are directly related to to the Russian Federation.
Experts cannot come to a single common opinion in this matter, arguing about who in reality the possible expansion of the territories of the capital will become beneficial. The main version at the moment is one in which the possibility of enrichment will be relevant for real estate owners located in territories, whose prospects in other cases are under a very big question. Nevertheless, the owners of such real estate claim that this news does not bring them much joy at all, if only because such sharpness in the change of administration of the Moscow Region to the administration of the metropolitan leads, to put it mildly, confused. Especially incomprehensible now remains with whom exactly it is necessary to agree on certain documents.
Another common idea is considered the one in which such an extension is beneficial to anyone, as state banks. After all, they received a significant part of the territories of Novomoskoye due to the crisis, therefore, from now on, the territory unnecessary to anyone will be greatly successful for anyone to implement.
The version in which the expansion of the territories of the capital is beneficial to its government also sounds plausible. So, those in power also would also like to work beautifully, but meanwhile it is difficult to build a modern building in Moscow now (if we talk about the center). The possessions belonging to them are not presentable. That is why in the case of expanding the territory of the capital, the transfer of their very activities is expected, which in particular will be located in the western part, where they are mostly living.
