Installation of sandwich panels
After installing the plastic window, the remains of the foam remain, which must be cut. Then a vapor barrier tape is glued around the entire perimeter of the window. An antifungal agent process the entire surface of the slopes.
At the next stage of finishing the slopes of sandwich with your own hands with your own hands using self-tapping screws, the starting P-shaped profile is attached to the window frame.
A wooden rail is attached from the outside of the slope. The correctness and accuracy of the installation of the rail is necessarily checked by the level.
The required size of the sandwich panel is cut off using a hacksaw. The sandwich panel using self -tapping screws is installed on one side in the P -shaped profile, on the other – to a wooden rail.
At the next stage, a F-shaped profile is installed. This profile will play the role of the platband. In those places where the profile will adjoin self -tapping screws, it is necessary to make cuts. After that, the foure profile is installed on the sandwich panel. One slope is ready.
The following slopes are established in the same way. The seams between the sandwich panels and the windowsill are treated with sealant.
Tips for decorating slopes yourself:
Start the finish of the slopes from the upper slope, and then install the side.
For better insulation of the window opening, it is recommended to install slopes with window sills.
