Repair of the old premises and the decoration of new ones today is practically inconceivable without the ceiling of the ceiling with drywall. This method of arranging ceilings perfectly hides all kinds of interference of ceilings, allows you to hide communications, and most importantly, as a result, an even and smooth ceiling comes out. Drywall is not only universal (can take a different shape), but also durable, harmless and fireproof material.
For installation of drywall, an additional set of materials and tools is required, such as CD and UD profiles, level, knife, screwdriver, drill, hacksaw, distance, dowels and screws.
The initial stage – “beat” level around the perimeter. This is done visually, after which equal gaps are taken from the cut line. You can use the leveling, water or laser level, the main thing is to remember that the evenness of the future ceiling directly depends on the accuracy of the marking.
The next stage of finishing the ceiling with drywall is to attach to the walls of the UD profile along the marked perimeter with a step of 50 cm, after which the marking is performed under the guides. Distaners or suspension fixed along these lines must be arranged in a checkerboard pattern. After that, the profile itself is installed using threads or ropes stretched between opposite walls – this will help to achieve the correct horizontal position. Now you need to attach the profile to the distances and insert it into the perimeter near the walls. At the joints of the perimeter, connectors from the CD profile are used, they are fixed with self-tapping screws. The final procedure for collecting metal structures is to check the strength of all connections and laying existing communications. Now you can start directly to the installation of drywall sheets.
Plasterboard sheets are attached to the profile with special screws for metal 25 mm long, every 20 cm, the heads must be drowned in the sheet. It is convenient for this purpose to use a screwdriver to a screwdriver.
After the fasteners of sheets, the joints are opened with a cromic shirt, so that the plaster is better grasped when clinging.
Further, the surface of the sheets is treated with soil to ensure the fastening of subsequent materials applied to drywall. The joints are sealed with a special mixture, then a reinforcing tape is laid and the final putty of the ceiling surface is made.
