Unlike Russia, Ukraine still adheres to a situation that implies the need to obtain a license for construction activities to build certain architectural objects. In addition to the construction activity itself, various types of actions directly related to construction are subjected to compulsory licensing from Ukrainian state bodies.
These, in particular, include: development of documentation for the construction and design of quarters; conducting survey work that precedes the construction itself; construction of certain elements of transport infrastructure and t. D.
The construction license, in Ukrainian, called LICENSION on Budіvnitroy, is issued after the relevant examination of documents by several departments, in particular, the territorial department of the State Construction Inspection. The special license commission considers the statements of potential recipients of the license. It is to it that the package of documents necessary for obtaining a license is transported to it. Before that, he is considered by the employees of the State Academy of Sciences. In the case of any comments, this package of documents is returned to the applicant to receive a license. If there are no comments, then the commission is preparing a written conclusion about the company’s compliance with the conditions of receiving a license (for which it is given ten working days), after which this conclusion is transferred to the licensing authority. Based on this conclusion, this body makes the final decision regarding the issuance of a license. The decision -making deadlines are also limited: this procedure will take no more than seven business days.
An application is necessarily made to the construction license, which indicates which construction work can be carried out by the company that has received a license. Please note: the company is notified in writing that it was issued a construction license, that is, companies of companies do not need to spend time monitoring the situation with a license. But as a written official document, a license will only be executing after paying for the corresponding duty for the services of state bodies. It is worth remembering that the construction license in Ukraine has a limited effect on time. If the company receives a license for the first time, then it will operate only three years. Only those companies that receive a license secondly can apply for five years of license.
