I want to tell you from my own experience how I pierced the artisan well in my country house. So, I bought a house in the far suburbs so that you could calmly relax in the environmentally friendly corner of our country from the noisy city. But, as it turned out, this “paradise” is far from civilization, and if more specifically, it was a problem with drinking water, and to be even more accurate, it was not as such.
I had to do something. Friends prompted one decent company to drill wells in the suburbs “turnkey”. I became interested in their offer, climbed the site, looked at prices and decided to contact them for help. Having concluded a contract with them and settling all the legal issues (which turned out to be much easier than I expected, without any paperwork and other difficulties), after a couple of days they arrived with special equipment to my cottage.
I conducted geological research on the old “grandfather” method. These are knitting needles and a saucer filled with dew. As a result, I found the perfect place for the future well. And experts from the company confirmed my choice, although, according to them, drilling on limestone can be carried out anywhere, since the water on the limestone horizon will be in any way.
The next stage consisted of drilling a well to limestone and casing with a plastic pipe (precisely plastic, although many companies offer a metal, because the obvious advantage of plastic is the lack of corrosion, and its function of preventing the source and mixing of groundwater, it performs no worse).
Then they engaged in pumping wells. This is necessary in order to remove “dirty” water. When visually clean water appears, the source was arranged with a caisson and a powerful pump was installed. Then, a lot of time took finishing work. It was interesting to observe how professionals have an ordinary artesian well into a water supply system of the house.
This whole process turned out to be very complicated and quite laborious, and, accordingly, and expensive. But it was worth it. As the guys who did this work prompted me, the well can be used all year round and for a very long time (about 40 years!). I was just delighted with them. At the very end, the corresponding document (passport) was written out in which all the technical characteristics of the source are indicated.
The next weekend I have already arrived with my family. Everyone was delighted with the taste of artesian water. The task was done. Money was spent not in vain. Now we can safely go into clean air and no longer experience certain inconvenience with the lack of water in the country.
